De l'album "Limite des murs" (Hiver 2013-2014)

L'inspiration des morceaux de cet album provient du travail photographique de CherMisterK. Ce dernier a notamment réalisé des prises de vue de graffitis, tags et autres œuvres graphiques murales. L'album reprend ces lieux, redéfinis ici comme un musée d'art contemporain à ciel ouvert, et les replace dans le lieu-dit "Limite des murs" où l'on découvre les ruines de bâtiments de l'ancienne zone industrielle de Noördheven. Cette zone marque également une des frontières géographiques de la ville. Cet espace extraordinaire et erratique est un lieu de création multimédia pour de nombreux artistes.
Chaque morceau porte le titre d'un élément graphique central d'un graffiti et tente une représentation sonore abstraite de celui-ci.

From the album "Limite des murs" (Winter 2013-2014)

The inspiration for the tracks on this album came from CherMisterK's photographic work. He has shot graffiti, tags and other graphic works on walls. The album takes these locations, redefined here as an open-air museum of contemporary art, and places them in the area known as 'Limite des murs', where the ruins of buildings on the former Noördheven industrial estate can be seen. This area also marks one of the city's geographical boundaries. This extraordinary and erratic space is a place of multimedia creation for many artists.
Each piece bears the title of a central graphic element of graffiti and attempts an abstract resonant representation of it.
